Sydney Zulli

Sit with Sydney.

Welcome, and congratulations on taking your first step toward seeking support. Reaching out can feel daunting, but you’re already doing something incredibly important for yourself. My name is Sydney, and my goal is to provide a comfortable, compassionate environment where you feel safe to explore your experiences and work through challenges—both anticipated and unexpected. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan; however, I primarily work with adolescents in my role as a Student Assistance Counselor within the Bergen County Technical Schools.

My approach centers on you. I believe that building a strong, trusting rapport and highlighting your unique strengths are essential to navigating difficult emotions and life situations. When life feels overwhelming, it’s easy to lose sight of the qualities that have carried you this far. Together, we’ll reconnect with those strengths, explore how they’ve supported you in the past, and use them to guide you through whatever challenges you’re facing now. I also believe in fostering skills that help you sit with and understand uncomfortable emotions while working through them in a meaningful way. Ultimately, my goal is to empower you to feel grounded, capable, and supported as you move through life.
