At Growth Mindset Counseling, I’m Frank Klump, a licensed professional counselor with over ten years of clinical experience. I’m licensed in New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, South Carolina, and Vermont. My background also includes more than a decade working in school settings, helping children and families navigate challenges both in and outside the classroom.

What I believe makes my approach unique is my ability to truly connect with my clients. Building trust and a strong rapport is at the core of my practice. I pride myself on my ability to create an environment where people feel comfortable being themselves, knowing they won’t be judged. I understand how important it is for you to feel heard and respected, and that’s exactly what I strive for in every session.

Therapy, to me, is about real conversations between two people. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel truly understood, not just another appointment on your calendar. While I bring in proven, evidence-based techniques to guide our work, I focus on making therapy feel approachable and relatable. It’s less about following a script and more about creating an open, comfortable dialogue where we can explore your goals and work through challenges together. When appropriate, I add humor to lighten the mood because sometimes a bit of levity can help make tough moments feel more manageable.
